Today, I just decide to take on photography as a partime hobby, or to be more exact, a partime good deed.
This decision is made after my browsing photographs depicting the plight of animals being tortured by environmental pollution.
Everyday we hear on TV news, on newspapers about facts and figures of pollution around the world but these news seem to fail at awakening effect.
If being asked about environmental pollution and its effect on animals, 100% of urban citizens and maybe 30 - 40% rural are aware of it. But if being questioned about the action they might take to somehow limit pollution, I believe that they will step back.
Why?
This is because they just know the consequences very theoretically but they don't see so the impact is not deep enough and does not drive action.
That's why I believe photos of real life animals being tortured to death will definitely go a much longer way towards changing the mindset of people. They will be touched by seeing the heartbreaking photos, and will go the extra miles to save the environment, which will eventually saves the poor animals.
I don't expect to make too much of a big impact on people's cognition about the current plight of animals but I will surely try my best to spread the message of saving animals to all the friends in my circle.
Today I download from internet and post some photos of those poor animals for readers' reference. But in the future, it will be photos taken by my own.
