A journey to the inside

I am 24 now. I have been working for 2 years but now I have come to realization that I am not wholeheartedly love what I am doing.

I am stuck in my current job, because the scope of work and the working culture here do not fit my expectations and career orientation.

I am looking for a new job. But meanwhile, it is critical that I figure out what I truly wants, what captivates me to the utmost.

It's a very tough question. It's not easy to understand myself.

I think I need to take it slow and spend more elaborate time listening to me.

I search on the internet, looking for any blogs or articles about tips on how to find out what the inner self really wants to do.

Here is one piece that I came across this morning:

Do you have an overwhelming list of projects you want to do and feel stuck or discouraged?

Write them down on a Google doc or in a journal. Then take a "life projects" sabbatical. Leave them alone for a few days. Don't even think about them.Gently observe yourself. What does your inner being want to naturally do?Do it. For those two days go wild.At the end of the few days write down what feels most aligned.

It's in the act of simplifying again that we can better understand what matters most to us.

We often get tangled in the web of what we should do and lose touch with what our inner being feels called to do.
