POSITIVE SITUATIONS & FEELINGS

A. GOOD FEELINGS

You should have a great sense of achievement at having reached the last unit of the book

John has always had a very strong sense of purpose in his life: a clear aim

Kay heaved a sign of relief as she saw Dick stepped off the plane

Tamara felt a shiver down her spine as she heard the orchestra tuning up: feeling of excitement/fear

As the starting whistle blew, a surge of adrenalin helped me get off to s good start.

I had a sudden burst of energy and decided to spring clean the whole flat

We are all in a state of euphoria after our fantastic exam results: excited happiness

I just loved my day at the beauty spa. It was sheer bliss: calm happiness

B.

My heart leapt when I heard the news.

Winning an Oscar has been my lifelong ambition, so this was a dream come true.

On hearing the news, my son literally jumped for joy. He's now dead keen to become an actor himself.

My husband takes delight in any success that I have.

And I have a profound admiration for his work.

Agreeing to do a bit of overtime could work to your advantage.

And a lot also depends on pure luck.

I hope our paths will cross again soon.
